Buffer volume and hydraulic separation
Adds water volume and hydraulically separates the heat source from the heating circuit.
Buffer Tanks for Heat Pumps and Heating Circuits
The Solibuffer Series adds buffer water volume between a heat pump or boiler and the heating circuit. It helps reduce short cycling, balance circuit flow rates and provide a heat reserve during defrost cycles. Seven nominal sizes are available: 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 800 and 1000 L.
Highlights
Solibuffer adds water volume between the heat pump and the heating circuit, helping balance flow rates and maintain steady heating.

Helps reduce heat pump short cycling and provides a heat reserve during defrost.
Across the 50–1000 L nominal range, actual tank volumes are 50, 100, 170, 245, 460, 850 and 1030 L.
The 50 L model has 30 mm PU insulation, the 100–500 L models have 50 mm PU, and the 800 and 1000 L models have 80 mm sponge insulation.
Solibuffer adds buffer volume between a heat pump and underfloor heating or other heating circuits. It helps reduce short cycling and supports defrost operation.

Adds water volume and hydraulic separation to the heating circuit.
Installed between the heat pump or boiler and the heating circuit, the tank adds buffer water volume. It helps separate source and distribution flow rates, reduce short cycling and support defrost.
Compare the 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 800 and 1000 L models.
Consider heat pump capacity, minimum circuit volume, flow rate and zoning together. The actual volumes of the nominal 50/100/200/300/500/800/1000 L models are 50/100/170/245/460/850/1030 L.
Models above 50 L have a heater connection; no anode rod is required.
The 50 L model has no heater or sensor connection. Models from 100 to 1000 L have a heater connection; the heater is optional. No anode rod is required. Inspect the system as specified in the manual.
